Role Overview & Responsibilities

International firm has a brand-new requirement for a Corporate Immigration Paralegal to work as part of their Belfast team. You will provide main point service to a range of global organisations regarding the new UK immigration system.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a growing department within a globally renowned firm.

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Act as point of contact for a range of clients regarding UK immigration legislation.
  • Coordinate with international offices regarding global immigration matters
  • Provide advice to corporations on the new global mobility visa route and act as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System
  • Provide advice regarding changes to UK immigration legislation and the impact of Brexit
  • Visit client sites to provide training
  • Support senior solicitors across global projects covering multiple locations

You will have strong experience in corporate immigration, covering UK immigration legislation. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working within a global law firm or Big 4 environment. You will be able to demonstrate up to date and current knowledge of the recent changes to the UK immigration system. A proven track record in providing advice within corporate immigration, particularly the Global Mobility/Skilled Worker category and the Sponsor Management System. Additional language skills and strong academic background would be advantageous. Ability to build strong client relationships is also key as you will provide a main point of contact service to a range of high profile global clients.
