HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience with long-haul trucking. The successful candidate must also be able to read maps and follow directions, maintain accurate records of deliveries, and adhere to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a truck to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload cargo from the truck.
• Maintain records of cargo and delivery information.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and laws.
• Keep track of fuel consumption and mileage.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £15.50-£17.50 per hour

Experience:

• Driving: 5 years (preferred)

• Driver CPC (preferred)
