Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to ongoing work loads, our client, who are a leading service company in the Oil & Gas Industry based in Aberdeen is looking for an experienced Torque Service Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Purpose:
  • Torqueing, Pressure Testing and Refurbishment of Third-Party Equipment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Torqueing of Premium and Rotary Equipment.
  • Pressure Testing of Third-Party equipment (Nitrogen and Hydrostatic).
  • General forklift duties including loading and unloading lorries.
  • Servicing of third-party equipment and their specifications.
  • Completion of all related Job Cards/Documentation and identifying third party equipment in line with all Torque procedures and processes.
  • General overhead crane duties including loading and unloading lorries.
  • Delivery driver duties if required (over 25 only).
  • General housekeeping of workstations.
  • Respond to any reasonable request from Management.
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks.
  • Participate in reasonable overtime requests from Management
  • Be involved in “In house training”.
Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment.
  • Follow and apply the Health, Safety and Environment Policies and Procedures and where appropriate clients QHSE Policies and Procedures.
  • Be aware and comply with Company PPE procedures.
  • Ensure that all Quality, HSE and Operational procedures as identified in the Company Integrated Management System are always adhered to.
Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge:
  • Forklift Qualification.
  • Current UK Drivers Licence.
  • Attention to detail in Quality of Work.
  • Co-operation & Teamwork – good communication skills
  • Commitment to Safety.
  • Reliable & Responsible – working in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Good Job & Technical knowledge.
  • Banksman/Slinging Qualification.
  • Spill Kit Training.
  • Environment Awareness.
  • Manual Handling.
  • Risk Assessment.
