Ward Clerk

We require an individual to join our team in Admissions Unit One within the Emergency Care Directorate, providing efficient and effective support within our busy Wards and Departments. This involves a large amount of moving and handling and electronic tracking of patient casenotes on a daily basis, alongside providing administrative and clerical support to Junior Medical Staff, and assisting the Senior Charge Nurse and team with general clerical duties relating to day-to-day Ward administration.

Relevant admin / clerical and reception experience is required, as is the ability to prioritise and deal with the day-to-day workload in a busy Health Service environment. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is required.

Please note the salary for the part post is pro rata to part time hours.
