Role Overview & Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 5 Queen Margaret Hospital for a nursing auxiliary to our teamWe are looking for a supportive and hardworking individual to encourage the patients to participate in their rehabilitation programme and who are committed to assisting nursing staff deliver a high standard of care to both patients and their families.
Ward 5 QMH is a rehabilitation ward with 30 beds. We work as part of a large Multi Disciplinary Team providing a comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation programme to all of our patients. It is essential that you have a real desire to work within a rehabilitation setting developing your basic nursing skills and assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
There is a rotational shift pattern in operation consisting of day shift and night shift over 7 days per week. The ward currently works a 12.5 hour shift pattern.
