Phlebotomist
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We have a vacancy for a Phlebotomist to join the team at Needham Market Country Practice. The role is for part time hours working Monday, Friday and every other Thursday from 8.30am to 1.00pm. We are a friendly practice in the heart of Needham Market with a mutifaceted team of staff that we are looking for the right candidate to join.
The following are the core responsibilities of a Phlebotomist. There may be occasions when there is a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent on factors such as workload, staffing levels and direction of the Team Lead/Manager:
Performing venepuncture, in accordance with practice procedures and protocols
BP monitoring
Measuring and recording patients height and weigh
Processing and management of laboratory samples, in accordance with practice procedures and protocols, and taking into account courier collection time
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 11.30 per week
Salary: From Β£10.42 per hour
