The Management Accountant will hold a Supporting role within the Finance team.
The key purpose of this role is to ensure accurate reporting of all financial information with systems and processes operating effectively.
To succeed you will need experience in working in a commercial accounting environment and can work on your own and in a fast-changing environment.
You will be supporting the Finance Business Partner and will be carrying out the following:
- Assisting in finance processing.
- Supporting the month end process.
- Calculating accruals and prepayments
- Relevant variance analysis.
- Reconciliation and review of key balance sheet accounts
- Journal review.
- Analysis of accounting systems.
- Involvement in budgeting and forecasting.
- Assisting in some process/cost improvement projects.
- Project review.
- Measuring Project performance based on financial information and analysis of projects.
- Preparation of Audit information.
- Communicating financial information to non-financial managers.
You will need to learn and understand the systems and processes within the organisation.
This role is key to helping the company maximise efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations and reporting.
The applicant should have the ability to work with stakeholders.
Part qualified member of ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional body. We would consider fully qualified AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) too
The Candidate should also have:
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Ability to challenge in a positive manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and accounting software programs.
- Organisational skills.
