Telecommunications Engineer
Key Experience:
- Managing and resolving escalated and/or complex installation visits.
- You must have demonstrable experience and a proven track record working in a networking engineering environment.
- Fibre delivery experience preferred.
- Knowledge of FTTP technologies.
- Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork and customer service.
- Should possess good logical skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and be willing to find the best customer solutions possible.
- Be able to manage any kind of technical work in the field.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Experience working on the Openreach network using PIA.
Requirements:
- SA001, SA002, S007, S008
- K8 (Hand rodding in UG network)
- NRSWA Unit 2
- IPAF 1b
- Streetworks
- Splicing and testing
- Minimum 2 years experience on OH and UG
- Valid UK driver’s licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols
- Individual required to work alone, meet SLA KPI’ s set by client
- Able to work irregular hours and overtime to achieve deliverables
- Medically fit
- Willing to work in other locations within the UK if required (accommodation provided)
