Junior Urban Designer

Job Description

I am on the look out for a Junior Urban Designer to join a large practice located in London.

This company have offices globally with a number of them in the USA and the Middle East. This is a practice are huge players in the major sector such as Aviation, Healthcare, Residential, commercial and are heavily involved with Masterplanning and Urban design. The Masterplanning team are looking for a passionate individual to join their London office that currently stands at 80 strong.

Salary for this position is between £28,000-£34,000 depending on experience.

This position is suitable for a junior urban designer with around 2 year of previous experience working on a range of residential and mixed use projects. The ideal candidate will have an MA in Urban Design and a distinct design focus demonstrated in their portfolio. Any experience working on Masterplans for international residential development projects or mixed-use projects would be a major advantage.

AutoCAD is the software of choice for this practice, therefore, proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, having strong knowledge of SketchUp is also vital for this position.

This is a hybrid position, with two days working from home and three days in the office, they also provide a range of benefits such as two weeks a year remote working from anywhere in the world.
