About Our Client
Operational for over 35 years, manufacturing and supplying the Semiconductor, Solar and Fibre Optic markets.
Largest specialist Fabricator in the UK and one of the Top Five in Europe. The facility is a purpose-built manufacturing facility, which boasts 50,000 sq ft of Manufacturing Area for both Fabrication and Manufacture.
Over 50 people are part of the team all with many years' experience in specific fields from Hot Zone and Cold Zone Manufacturing, Thermocouple Assembly, Technical Sales, Engineering Design & Development and Quality Assurance and Control.
Job Description
- Ensure Health & Safety is priority and always adhered to.
- Embrace, Encourage and Ensure Implementation of 5S is a day-to-day occurrence in your department and wider business - without exceptions.
- Targeting continuous improvement opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and working with the Continuous Improvement teams to implement project work.
- Offline programming using solid works /mastercam
- Manual machining, cutting, and grinding operations
The Successful Applicant
Understanding the importance of Health & Safety within the workplace is important.
VMC machines, Haas, Hurco, Fadals, Offline programming, solid works /mastercam, Manual machining, cutting, and grinding.
- Time-served engineer who has worked in a precision engineering environment.
- An understanding of the importance of quality and providing exceptional customer service.
- Good team player and communicator but also the ability to work from own initiative.
