Garden Maintenance Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our Company:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing high end garden maintenance business based in North London. We service private clients with ongoing garden maintenance, seasonal planning & ongoing design projects to continuously improve their outside space.

Candidate:

Successful candidates will be hardworking, reliable with a passion for horticulture & working outside. As part of a friendly but professional team, you will presentable, polite with good customer service skills. Experience of using garden equipment will be highly advantageous as would a knowledge of plants. Able to take direction and ensure the highest standards are always maintained. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about garden maintenance at a very high level.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintenance of high end domestic gardens & outdoor spaces.
• Ensuring clients needs are met & exceeded
• Lawn care & hedge pruning
• Planting & installation of containerised plants & seasonal displays
• Maintaining health of plants & green spaces including: watering, feeding, weeding, pruning and spraying
• Plant pest & disease control
• pruning climbers, shrubs & perennial plants
• Setting & adjusting irrigation systems
• Maintenance of power tools

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £80.00-£100.00 per day

• North London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Gardening: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
