Laser Tag Assistant Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced assistant manager to join our fantastic team. You must have management experience and at least 2 years of leisure, bar, restaurant or hospitality experience.

Megazone Leicester is a laser tag centre, with arcades, party rooms and pizza menu. Open for over 30 years, we’re a popular choice for children’s birthday parties and laser tag sessions for families, teens and adults. We’re also a fun place to work!

We need your availability evenings and weekends when the centre is busiest. With a flexible shift pattern, you’ll play a key role overseeing the day-to-day running of the business working 15-30 hours per week.

We foster a positive and collaborative environment for staff, where staff are never asked to do a job while management remains idle. A friendly, can-do attitude is just as important for our customer’s experience.

Our requirements:

• experience with children. This could be through volunteering, employment, or as a parent
• employment history in a leisure facility, pub, restaurant or retail environment
• willingness to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays alongside 4:30-9:30 weekday shifts
• ability to keep the team on track in many different areas simultaneously, with confidence and positivity
• great attention to detail
• pride in customer service

Your responsibilities:

• ensuring customers have a great time
• stock and schedule plans are ready for the weekend
• records are maintained
• cleaning standards are met
• laser games, parties and the kitchen run efficiently and on schedule
• opportunities for staff training are recognised and acted upon
• your confident, positive attitude boosts the team to thrive, particularly during fast-paced shifts
• our services and policies are clearly and kindly communicated to customers so they know exactly how their booking will run, allowing them to relax and enjoy themselves
• cash handling and reconciling
• identifying opportunities for the business to develop

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

Salary: £11.17-£12.50 per hour
