Role Overview & Responsibilities

Role: Care Assistant- Must have UK Experience

Location: York / Grimston

Rate of Pay: £11.21 per hour

Responsibilities and Duties of Healthcare Assistant

• Assisting residents with their personal care, washing, dressing, oral hygiene
• Attend medical appointments
• Assisting with meals/drinks to support our residents overall nutrition
• Supporting the Seniors/Nursing staff and Home Manager with jobs as necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes.
• Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients.
• Observe and record clients’ physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.

Requirements of Healthcare Assistant

NVQ Level 2 in Heath and social care (desirable)

• Previous experience of working in Care setting
• Full right to work in UK (THIS CLIENT DOES NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Altrincham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• providing care: 1 year (preferred)
• supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (required)
