TRAINEE PCV DRIVER

Role Overview & Responsibilities

McGill’s Bus Service ltd, the UKs largest independent bus operator, are recruiting for Trainee PCV Drivers to join our teams in the West of Scotland, based at Inchinnan, Johnstone and Greenock depots.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to transport our passengers in West Central Scotland. There are full time and part time positions available, and we are an employer who values flexibility. We have our dedicated in-house Training Academy that will be with you every step of your journey to become a fully-fledged PCV Driver, which includes training on theory and practical modules.

What you’ll do…

· Drive a passenger carrying vehicle transporting passengers safely and on time

· Maintain a high standard of customer care and service at all times

· Maintain a high standard of vehicle and personal presentation at all times

· Collect appropriate fares and assist passengers when scanning their mobile app ticket

· A flexible approach to work and be able to work shifts on a rotational basis

Salary: £12.00 per hour

• Johnstone: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
