Role Overview & Responsibilities

Market House is a one-of-a-kind dining and meeting space in the heart of Cambridge. Spreading over five floors of the iconic Grade II listed building, Market House comprises a formal restaurant, a Wine Bar, an all-day cafe, a Food Lab, and flexible meeting spaces.

We are looking for an enthusiastic waiter/waitress to join our Market House FOH team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable, and passionate about high-level Food & drink offering and customer service. 1-year (at least) of experience is essential. We need team players with a 'can-do' attitude and approachable manner, willing to learn and to ensure the guests receive the highest levels of service throughout their experience. Full training on our food & drink menu and the POS system will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Engaging with customers, serving food & drinks, and making sure that customers receive the highest levels of service throughout their experience
• Using of POS systems to take orders and process payments
• Maintaining a clean and organised FOH area
• Adhering to all SOPs, including Food Hygiene, allergens, COSSH and HACCAP

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of F&B products
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene, allergens

• High-level of customer service, and attention to detail

• Flexibility and willingness to embrace new ideas
• Team player qualities
• Positive and approachable manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: Up to £11.50 per hour
