Service Engineer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer for our client based in Swindon on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will ideally be a fully qualified carpenter, Joiner or have a background in Joinery, manufacture, and/or window/door Installation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for carrying out repairs or adjustments to timber windows and doors.

· Working alongside current service engineers onsite (national)

· Must be able to undertake any works requested on their own following training period

· Travelling to either customer’s properties or sites

· Working independently and organising own workload

· Responsible for Customer Service

· Being part of a positive team environment, displaying high levels of motivation and excellent team spirit

· Participating and contributing to relevant service team meetings when required

· Ensuring effective communication throughout all levels of the Customer Service function

Experience, Education & Qualifications:

· A Positive / “Can Do” attitude

· Highly motivated

· Honesty and professional

· IT literate

· A full clean UK driving licence

· Able to communicate and work alongside other employees at all levels

· Takes pride in their work

· Good organisational skills and who can work as part of a team or own their own

· Completing all tasks to a high standard

· Ideally be a fully qualified carpenter, joiner or have experience in Joinery, manufacture and installation.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 40 – 45 hours per week including travel time, with an ADHOC requirement for overnight stays.

In return our client offers a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum with free on-site parking. The successful candidate must have their own transport due to company location.
