Role Overview & Responsibilities

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Picker and Packer for our busy client based in Witham on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client is looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual to join their busy warehouse based in Braintree. The successful candidates will be responsible for picking customer orders using a handheld scanner and replenishing the stock within the warehouse.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Picking customer orders
• Meeting order picking targets
• Use of a handheld scanning system
• Manual handling
• Replenishing stock within the warehouse
• Working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment
• Stacking pallets
• Removing waste packaging and ensuring it is disposed of in the correct manner

Experience, Education & Qualifications:

• Ideally will have some previous warehouse experience
• Literate and numerate, understanding pick sheets
• Ideally will have used digital scanners
• Familiar with manual handling practises
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift heavy objects

Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm.

In return our client is offering £9.50 per hour.
