Role Overview & Responsibilities

It is exciting times as MAP Group (UK), one of the leading national contractors in the field of network installations, supports the roll out of essential high-speed fibre broadband and its associated services. It is a great time to join the team as the company continues expanding both its client base and its national Fibre and Civils installation operations UK wide.

MAP Group (UK) is currently seeking Experienced Fibre Splicers to work Nationally with a minimum of 2 years hands on knowledge and experience in network fibre splicing and testing on the Virgin Media or BT network.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and testing of all fibre cabling works.
• Lone Worker Role on a National Basis

· Individuals to work remotely without direct daily supervision on a national basis reporting direct to project management team

• Working on FTTP Projects
• Duties Include Splicing and Testing throughout external networks and in customer premises in both MDUs and SDUs

Requirements

· A recognised qualification in Fibre installation and Splicing

· Experience working on either VM or BT network.

· Able to meet strict quality standards.

· Results orientated.

· Awareness of Customer Satisfaction for both internal and external sources.

· Self-Motivated.

· Good communication skills

· Qualified with NRSWA

· A Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
