Role Overview & Responsibilities
Malin Group are looking for a diligent and trustworthy IT Assistant who will work within the IT team. IT infrastructure is essential to the operation of the company, and you will assist in maintaining this IT infrastructure across the Group. To thrive in this role you must have experience of working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Exchange, alongside hardware and server and networking. A full UK Driver’s License is also required for occasional travel to different sites
Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Assisting with the build and maintenance of IT equipment including PC’s, printers and scanners
- Assisting in the maintenance of software installations, operating systems, anti-virus software
- Assisting with server folder maintenance and carrying out the physical back-up process
- Managing users on the Group domain
- Help Desk Support - troubleshoot technical issues with Group devices
- Assisting with Cyber Security, SharePoint Site maintenance and IT polices/procedures
