Role Overview & Responsibilities

Top Tier Private Equity firm with an unparalleled track record in growth, are looking for an experienced Investment Research Analyst to work alongside their UK and European Investment team, helping them make critical decisions about capital deployment. You will be joining a very dynamic, entrepreneurial and focused team based in London. It’s a busy and fast paced environment, with a very high deal flow and you'll be working within a collaborative and tightly integrated team.

The role involves crafting investment thesis, uncovering trends and themes; and evaluating investment opportunities across EMEA.

Role
Synthesizing information and translating it into key insights that support investment decision making
Managing projects to deliver high impact insights and relationships that provide an advantage to the team
Analyze industries, markets and competitive landscapes to better understand investment opportunities
Create and deliver high quality presentations and database
You will be required to be a committed team player and get involved in a variety of projects and activities within the research team.

Requirements
Engineering / mathematical / analytical background is preferred, understanding of R or Python tools for data processing is a plus
Extremely proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Structured and Critical Thinking & Analytical: breaks down complex problems and solves them in creative ways is a must
Can demonstrate an ability to draw conclusions from a variety of sources, including primary data analysis and reports produced by others in the industry or academia.
Self-starter with ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time and workload
Ability to work well in a team environment or on an individual basis
Impeccable attention to detail
Excellent written English and oral communication skills, with the ability to present your findings in a professional, logical and engaging way.
Any other European languages is an added benefit
1-3 years of work experience is necessary
