Key responsibilities
Core elements of the role may include:
  • Plan and manage the effective delivery of assigned projects.
  • Provide direction and supervision to the assigned project delivery team and supporting staff.
  • Ensure that assigned projects are planned and managed in accordance with regulatory H&S standards, policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain a good, professional, and pro-active working relationship with the Contractor/Delivery partner's project management team where applicable to ensure delivery of intended business benefits.
  • Within agreed authority levels, negotiate, procure, and authorise all project contracts and variations and approve and authorise all payment to meet value for money criteria.
  • Responsible for the financial cost management of the project(s), ensuring that works are completed within allocated budget and cost performance measures / indices are reported and adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant governance and other forms of assurance.
  • Preparation and presentation of periodic reports.
  • Coordination of assigned projects with internal and external stakeholders.
