Facilities and Vehicle Maintenance Operative

Location: Lynas Foodservice, Coleraine, Head Office

Hours of work: 10.30 am to 6.30 pm

37.5 hours per week

Job Summary:

As a Vehicle Maintenance Operative you will ensure our fleet is clean, washed and topped up with ad blue allowing us to provide the best service to our customers.

Role Responsibilities:

• Power washing/brushing lorries and trailers
• Lorry shunting
• Refuelling lorries and topping up Ad Blue
• Completion of paperwork accurately and efficiently
• General maintenance and driving duties
• Adhering to the company’s health & safety procedures
• Report any safety incidents or environmental concerns to your manager

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience of driving and reversing large machinery
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• A basic understanding of lorry maintenance, (refuelling, ad blue).
• Must be flexible and have a ‘can do’ attitude
• Highly motivated individual who can work well on their own initiative but also works well as part of a small team
• Full UK clean driving licence
• Work Nights and weekends to cover security duties
• Work 1 in 3 Saturdays
