The job will entail close collaboration on a number of new and ongoing projects on a broad range of topics in applied microeconomics, development economics and political economy, using “big data” and experimental and quasi-experimental methods to identify causal effects and test the predictions of economic models.

The successful candidate should have a completed Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and/or a completed (or nearly completed) Master’s degree in economics or other closely related discipline, strong quantitative and data analysis skills, strong programming skills and confidence with the use of different data management software and the ability to manage own areas of responsibility independently without constant direct supervision .
