Role Overview & Responsibilities

Part Time (0.6 FTE) and Open ended

This is a fantastic time to join the University as we embark on implementing the University’s 2030 strategic plan: Creating Better Futures. Together.

Our new strategy has set the vision for what the University wants to achieve. To help achieve these ambitions, a number of strategic change projects have been identified and we are looking to grow our team to help us to deliver them.

Working with colleagues in the Organisational Development and Change Team, the person appointed to this vital role will provide data analyst support for University-wide change projects and initiatives that help teams, schools and departments to work effectively and to adapt to change and new ways of working.

The Projects and Data Analyst will use a range of business analysis tools, methods and techniques to provide data, information and insight into ways of working, processes and activities. The postholder will produce and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to help inform action planning and reporting and will work as part of a team within the project and process change environment.

Candidates will have experience of working in a comparable role to support a range of qualitative and quantitative data capture methods, experience of producing reports that summarise data findings to help decision-making and can evidence having worked effectively with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders.

Working in a change environment, the post-holder will be comfortable with working in a flexible way managing their individual workload and contributing as part of the wider team and Directorate helping the University to achieve its strategic goals.

Informal enquiries should be made to Steve Harris, Change Portfolio Manager, by email at S.J.Harris@lboro.ac.uk
