Food Production Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a Care operative you will be working as part of the High Care team, mixing yogurt and running packing machines. Your duties will include:

-You will be required to lift 12kg bags of fruit and 25kg bags of sugar off a conveyor into the yogurt blenders.

-Running packing machines, filling pots and buckets, applying labels, packing pots into trays and checking the weights.

-Attention to detail is vital, you will be responsible for ensuring the product is packed into the correct packaging, with the correct use by date and batch code applied.

-Cleaning to high standards, you will set machines up for CIP washing and manually clean tables, tanks etc.

-You must be able to read and write in English.

High standards of hygiene are a must, standard high care manufacturing practices must be followed, no jewellery, strong smelling perfumes, nail art, excessive facial hair etc.

Training will be provided.

Hours are 5 days per week 07:00am until 5:00pm, no weekends. Hours may vary depending on the businesses requirements.

Salary starts from £10.18 per hour with the addition of £10 per day attendance allowance for every shift worked (terms apply).Pension scheme.
