Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for both permanent and temporary, full and part-time Punting Tour Guides for Lets Go Punting.

We operate all year round with flexible working patterns to fit your lifestyle, with weekend work desirable. This role is ideal for college, university and gap year students or people who want an interesting career change.

We are looking for articulate, hard-working, energetic and positive individuals to join our team to provide award-winning tours of the historical college ‘Backs’. Becoming a punt chauffeur, you'll be showcasing the best of the city and be a part of a quint-essential, Cambridge tradition.

Both enjoying physical activity and being comfortable around water is essential along with a keen to learn attitude. Full training will be provided which will bring your punting skills up to scratch in no time and your customer service will improve with every tour. We offer excellent rates of pay starting at £17.50 per tour, with additional bonus schemes, and you keep all of your customer tips.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation of both the boats and yourself
• Delivering the best customer experience and service
• Guiding customers on the interesting stories, facts and history of Cambridge
• Organising, setting up and packing away equipment
• Maintaining a safe working environment

Part-time hours: 9 - 27 per week

Salary: £60.00-£200.00 per day
