Civil Site Supervisor

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team working on Commercial & residential units. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that work is completed to a high standard, within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and managing the team on site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Working with the SMT, to ensure all program deadlines are adhered to.

Identifying any variation works & documenting for the Q.S.

Coordinating with other site teams and the project manager to ensure that the works are completed on time and to the required quality standard.

Conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, quality standards and project specifications.

Monitoring and reporting on progress to the SMT and escalating any issues that arise.

Ensuring that all equipment and materials are available on site when required.

Managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers where required.

Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role within the construction industry.

Knowledge of all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, foundations, concrete works and landscaping.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage a team effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £180.00-£220.00 per day

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Peterborough, PE2 8ST: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• SSSTS (required)
