Role Overview & Responsibilities

Lakeland Cosmetics have an exciting opportunity due to expansion for a Factory Production Line Operator / Warehouse Operator to join our team based in Workington, Cumbria.

Lakeland Cosmetics are an innovative UK based cosmetics manufacturer, specialising in our own brands and bespoke product development and formulations.

For over a decade, we have been creating some of the most well-known cosmetic products in the UK. Manufacturing cosmetics and personal care products spanning from pet care to cosmetic products. Lakeland Cosmetics, is a thriving family business whose company philosophy is firmly rooted in providing flexible innovative solutions for our clients' production criteria.

Our products are sold into the likes of Asda, pets at home, jollyes, the range, wilko and many more major retailers.

We are now looking for a talented individual to come and join our team. We recruit people who believe in the things we do, people who are motivated, hardworking, and have a ‘can do, will do attitude.

You will need to be a team player and be able to demonstrate a good track record of quality workmanship. We are looking for someone who can be flexible in their role. Must be reliable, have a positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:

• General warehouse duties
• Assisting line setters to setup production lines
• Packing off products into boxes
• Heavy lifting
• Operating machines
• Cleaning machines down
• Housekeeping
• Cleaning duties
• Fast learner
• Previous experience of working in a similar role
• Be computer literate
• Ability to follow instructions closely

Standard working hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
