Kitchen Fitter

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a kitchen makeover company looking for an experienced kitchen fitter to work on a sub-contracted basis.

You'll be required to replace kitchen doors, draws, worktops, carcasses etc which we will supply you with. We also sometimes fit sinks and taps so basic plumbing skills will also be very helpful.

As part of the work, we will also require, prior to the job, for you to pick up the products from a certain location and transport them to the job in question so a van that can carry 3m lengths is essential.

You must have:

• Min 3 years experience
• Experience in fitting kitchens
• Your Own Tools
• Your Own Van
• Valid public liability insurance (min £1,000,000)
• Excellent customer interaction skills
• Basic plumbing skills (re-fitting sinks & taps)
• Good timekeeping & Communication

You must be able to:

• Cut hinges into doors occasionally
• Modify units occasionally
• Travel to jobs
• Be quick with work, while maintaining the highest standards of artisanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Salary: £200.00-£250.00 per day

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Carpentry: 3 years (required)
