Kitchen Assistant 4.5 days per week

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented kitchen assistants to join our team at our upcoming new branch opening in Shoreditch. Our teams are well known for being friendly, enthusiastic & dynamic, and we pride ourselves on delivering a balance of knowledgeable service with warm personable hospitality.

*Please note, this job opportunity is for a new upcoming restaurant branch scheduled to open early June 2023.

What we are looking for:

• Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
• Good punctuality, someone who is reliable and trustworthy
• Sense of urgency with a ‘Can Do’ attitude
• Have a genuine passion for cooking or career ambitions for the food and beverage industry
• Previous experience within hospitality industry and food safety training would be ideal but not essential

Job Responsibilities:

• Learning recipes and cooking dishes to our expected high quality and standards
• Provide support to chefs during food preparation and service
• Help the kitchen team carry out daily HACCP and opening & closing checks in accordance to food safety regulations
• Must ensure kitchen appliances, equipment, work surfaces, floors and walls are cleaned, sanitised and well maintained on a daily basis to industry standards
• Assist the team when receiving and unloading deliveries whilst making sure stock is stored properly by tidying and maintaining storage rooms

Wage:

Part-time

• Up to £10.42 per hour (+Holiday Pay)
• Minimum 20 working hours per week

Full-time

• £25,000 annual salary
• Annual salary will be decided after the interview

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Part-time hours: 20-45 per week

Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per month
