Trainee Accountant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Full-time, Permanent Position – 37 hours per week
Location : Solihull

Job Summary
Your main duties will be to support our accounting team by assisting with:

• the preparation of statutory accounts
• the preparation of management accounts
• the preparation of year end financial statements / accounts
• the preparation of VAT returns
• book-keeping
• payroll
• maintaining accounts records
• administration

Qualities
The successful candidate will have:

• A strong academic background with good numerical and computer skills
• Ideally, at least 3 A-levels (to include mathematics at grade B or above) or equivalent
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude to learning
• A desire to progress
