Role Overview & Responsibilities

Innovative Security Solutions are looking for a Door Supervisor to join our security team in the Tamworth area, B78. We are looking for an experienced Security Officer to join the Team on site, you will take a lead role on site on a daily basis. Your shift pattern will be discussed at interview with an hourly rate of £10.50, working a guaranteed minimum of 42 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Shift timings will be discussed in the interview.

Within this role you will be expected to:

• Participate in regular patrolling of the warehouse, back of house areas, car parks and external areas, assisting visitors and staff if needed.
• Carry out regular checks and searches.
• Deter and prevent crime and unacceptable behaviour.
• Look after the safety of visitors, and fellow employees.
• Operate within the confines of the policies, procedures and rules of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
• Assist with the setup, management and break down of any on-site events.
• Attend any training or courses that the company feels is relevant to your role or your personal development.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Security and Health & Safety

• Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.
• Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss or damage.
• Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening.
• To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult and challenging situations.

What we are looking for

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.

· Must have own vehicle access and able to drive as site does NOT have any public transport routes.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £10.42 per hour
