Collections Driver / Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a new Collections Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our busy Aberdeen depot. The role will also include some driving.

What we do:
Hutton's supply a wide variety of goods to offshore vessels throughout the UK.

• Food - including chilled, frozen, ambient, as well as international specialities
• Cleaning & Galley stores- chemicals, toiletries and consumables.
• Technical & Industrial - from components for the engine room, to timber and steel materials for the vessel's deck.

Our Aberdeen warehouse stock 100's of lines, and make deliveries all over Scotland.

What we're looking for:

Key responsibilities include:

• Visiting local suppliers and stores to collect goods/supplies required for clients.
• Preparation of orders for clients - from picking to quality checking.
• Accurate receipt of deliveries from suppliers - ensuring any discrepancies are properly recorded and reported.
• Stock control - regular checking of stocked products and reporting any nearing expiry date / damages that may have occurred.
• Delivery of goods to clients at ports, potentially throughout Scotland although mostly within Aberdeen / Peterhead.
• Our warehouse comprises a chilled and frozen area, as well as ambient and outside yard storage. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions.

This role would ideally suit someone comfortable in a fast paced environment and who can work independently without supervision.

40 hours per week + overtime as required.

Standard hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm + alternate Saturdays 8am – 12pm
