GP Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to the increasing administrative demands on our GPs, we are now looking to recruit an additional full-time GP Assistant to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.

The role will be based at Huntingdon Road Surgery.

This role is 37.5 hours and will provide much needed administrative/secretarial support to the GPs.

Main duties of the job

You will be working closely with the GPs and the administrative team, have contact with patients and third parties, and be involved in project work.

You will be conscientious, have a flexible approach to work and take the initiative. You should be willing to learn and keen to develop in your role.

Overview of your organisation

We offer 5 weeks holiday per annum plus bank holidays, the NHS Pension scheme and the opportunity to be part of a friendly and enthusiastic team in a city environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
