Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced maintenance worker to join our team at Howard Tenens Property. Our business parks are home to multiple businesses and organisations, and we are looking for a professional to help keep the facilities in top condition.

Maintenance Technician

Full Time : 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work and call-outs

Location: Howard Tenens, Swindon, with some occasional off-site work assisting our other maintenance staff in Andover, Sharpness and Stroud.

Salary : Competitive, based on experience

What will you do?

Reporting to the Site & Facilities Manager : the Maintenance Technician will be a reliable, skilled and motivated individual, capable of upholding our high standards of property and facilities maintenance. A varied role working to keep our properties in excellent condition and providing impeccable service to our tenants.

Objectives of the role as Maintenance Technician, include, but not limited to:

• Maintaining the exterior of the business park, including cleaning and landscaping.
• Responding to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conducting routine inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues reporting any major maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.
• Performing site repairs as needed, including but not limited to: painting, basic plumbing & carpentry.
• Ensuring that the facilities are clean and well presented at all times.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of maintenance equipment and supplies.
• Management of contractors, including checking their work and ensuring they adhere to our health and safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

• Monday to Friday

• Swindon, SN3 4ND: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
