Role Overview & Responsibilities

House of Townend is a 4th Generation Organization established in 1906. We are happy to announce we have a transport vacancy available. This is a great opportunity to work for a family run company who specialises in hospitality and really excels in the customer service sector.

House of Townend Ltd are looking for multidrop delivery Driver that holds a class 2 HGV license to join our friendly team with an immediate start. As a House of Townend employee you are required to deliver in a safe timely manner using your time management skills to meet our customers’ requirements, you will work closely with your management/ warehouse team to achieve this. You will be customer focused and work in a polite way. You are required to carry out basic vehicle tasks whilst maintaining the upkeep of our fleet of vehicles.

Requirements and skills:

· Proven driver experience.

· Must hold a current Drivers & Qualification card and clean license.

· H&S focused.

· Customer focused.

· A polite and professional disposition

· Familiar with GPS devices

· Ability to carry out pre-trip checklists.

· Flexible with start and finish times

· Counterbalance license (Desired)
