Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mill Services Operative.

This is a full-time position working on a 4-shift pattern

4 days on (06:00-18:00) followed by 4 days off & 4 nights on (18:00-06:00) followed by 4 days off.

Higher Kings Mill is a large paper manufacturer and all our finished products, that are made predominantly for the filing and educational market, are 100% recyclable and made using recycled materials that are sustainably sourced.

Situated in Cullompton (EX15 1QJ), the company has a long standing tradition and appreciation for long term business relations with our customers, and has been in operation since 1757.

The Role:

As a Mill Services Operative, you will learn an array of skills to respond to a range of activities to help maintain the efficiency of our effluent treatment plant. Full training will be provided to perform these activities, such as;

• Operating the effluent treatment plant
• Carrying out sufficient checks to ensure efficient operation and minimal disruption to the manufacturing of paper making
• Carrying out effluent treatment plant tests in accordance with our environmental policies.
• Support the Environmental Manager & Technician to fulfil their responsibilities
