Manufacturing production manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

HERMEQ is a successful and growing business and we are now ready for our next step into design and production by recruiting a manufacturing/production manager

The Role

• Overseeing production of goods or services to ensure that they meet company standards for quality
• Managing and developing a team of manufacturing workers, including hiring, firing, disciplining, and coaching employees as needed
• Implementing new technology to increase efficiency and productivity in manufacturing processes
• Reviewing budgets and financial reports to ensure that operations are profitable
• Conducting inspections of work sites to monitor progress on projects or to identify areas for improvement
• Developing and enforcing safety standards for employees to follow when working with machinery or other potentially dangerous tools or equipment
• Determining the best method of manufacturing a product based on cost and other considerations such as product quality or delivery timeframes
• Managing employee training to ensure that they are always using safe work practices and using the most efficient methods possible
• Establishing policies and procedures to ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
