Hanbury-Autogil Ltd are recruiting for a driven and committed Graduate / Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for our well established and rapidly expanding engineering company based in Newton Abbot, Devon.

Automation is our thing, our designs might use robots, we design and build single automated machine cells through to huge fully automated production lines.

This is a very unique opportunity for the right person with huge potential to develop their career.

Also; we are planning a move to brand new, purpose-built premises at the end of 2023 creating further exciting prospects for the company and the potential for further development of this role to Management level.

Job Description

· Using SolidWorks.

· Project management.

· Engineering Support.

· Support the development of new manufacturing processes required to sustain growth of the company, based on adopting a continuous improvement approach.

· Contribute to innovation working as part of the team.

· Creation of Technical Manuals, RAMS, CE Marking

Qualifications/Experience

· Degree educated in relevant subject, preferably mechanical engineering or related degree (2:1 minimum)

· OR HNC/HND educated in relevant subject, preferably mechanical engineering or related

· Possess working knowledge of SolidWorks

· Interest in automation / robotics

· Good IT skills

Actual starting salary will be agreed depending on experience and ability.

Hours of work:

8:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs)

8:00am-3:30pm (Fri)

Total 39 Hours

(30-minute lunch break)

Applicants MUST reside in the locality of our factory in Newton Abbot or be willing to relocate.
