Role Overview & Responsibilities

Gomer Williams are excited to announce the offer of Level 3 or 5 Legal Apprentice

Gomer Williams & Co are seeking an ambitious individual to join our expanding team. This is a new route in collaboration with Coleg Sir Gar for individuals to begin their route into law, without the financial burden of the traditional routes.

This funded apprenticeship will give you the skills and knowledge required to begin your journey to become a successful solicitor. Upon completion of the apprenticeship we would consider progressing the individual onto the next level of their career to becoming a qualified solicitor.

While working for us you will gain valuable practical experience working closely alongside solicitors and partners of the firm. You will be employed by Gomer Williams as an Apprentice, and will spend one day per week in the college.

On entry if candidates do not possess GCSE A-C grades (or equivalent to), candidates will be required to complete Essential Skills Qualifications in Application of Number, Communication and Digital Literacy.

Our 24-month apprenticeship gives you the knowledge, experience and qualification you need to start a career as an advanced paralegal.

• Advanced stage Criminal Law and Practice
• Advanced stage Property and Conveyancing
• Advanced stage Professional and Legal Skills
• Advanced stage Family/Wills/Business & Employment
• Professional Experience

Progression & Employment

Once this stage is completed, higher apprentices can opt to continue to work as a practicing Advanced Paralegal or continue to progress onto our new UWTSD LLB Law and Practice Degree or the CILEX Lawyer CPQ Professional qualification.

Assignments, exams and competency of performance.
