Part-time busy Barback

Role Overview & Responsibilities

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING - this is a physically demanding role which includes carrying heavy crates/boxes up many flights of stairs throughout the night. Please only apply if you are able to do this type of role.

OVERALL PURPOSE

To facilitate and support the bartender to ensure the bar runs efficiently and is adequately stocked

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· To ensure that there is always enough back up stock

· Replenish bar with beer, liquor, wine, glassware and juices when required

· Maintain and change draught beers when required

· Re-stock garnishes, fruit trays, straws, napkins and mixers

· Ensuring sufficient glassware on premises

· Re stock ice when required

· Maintain clean cloths in each bartender's station

· Collect empty glasses from the bar and tables, wash and re stack

· To assist the bartender to take orders and deliver drinks at peak trading times

· Ensure the bar and table surfaces are clean and dry at all times

· Carry out all reasonable requests asked of you by the General Manager and/or the Director

· Be immaculately dressed in all black with tops provided by the Company

· Maintain excellent time keeping and attendance

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £14.00-£17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Weekend availability
