Role Overview & Responsibilities

A Halal butcher is required for our busy grocery store. The Butcher must know the catering industry and works with Halal Certified Chicken. The individual needs to be aware of his surroundings at all times and be able to serve customers as and when needed.
Responsibilities:
1.Cutting, grinding and preparing meats for sale.
2.Must know the catering industry and works with Halal Certified Chicken and HMC Meat.
3.Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
4.Assist customers with the selection and purchase of fresh items from the counters.
5.Maximising the yield of the product and minimising waste to ensure production is as efficient as possible.
6.Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.
7.Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.
8.Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering questions, and accepting orders or payments.
9.Coordinating deliveries or order pick-ups.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £26,500.00 per year
