The role is contracted to 33 hours per week on a 7 day rota basis, with one weekend on and the next weekend off.

Globe Court provides residential care for older people.

We are looking to recruit a day care assistant to join our friendly team that will show warmth and support to our residents and their families; helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhance the lives of individuals in our care.

So as a Day Care Assistant what do you need to do to make this happen?

• Assist residents with personal care needs
• Communicate professionally and warmly with all visitors, including professionals, to the home.
• Provide friendship and support to our residents and their needs
• Work as part of a team

NVQ 2 in health and social care desirable. Training and support provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London, E1 4DS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
