Location: Watford

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Hours: Mon – Fri 40hpw (8hour shift)

Type: Permanent

Job description

We are currently looking for an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician for our hub,

Pharmacy based in Watford, Hertfordshire.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, your overall responsibility will be to participate in the whole dispensing process. This will range from the initial handling, storage and final dispensing of Medicines, Medical Devices and associated sundry items and be part of a team operating an automated system and checking dispensed packs.

Requirements

To be successful, you must be registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician and be able to provide evidence of professional membership status.

You must also have an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or Accredited equivalent qualification and experience of working in a Pharmacy Hub or pharmacy deal with carehome MDS dispensing.

You should also be able to demonstrate:

- extensive experience and compliance in accordance with The Human Medicines

Regulations 2012 and GDP EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C343/01)

- ability to lead by example and maintain GDP

- ability to work in a very busy environment where delivery windows are often tight.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
