About Geoman

Geoman Ltd is a specialist consultancy providing advice on all geotechnical issues including site investigation, developments on poor ground, retaining structure designs, reinforced soil designs, settlement prediction, slope & global stability assessment, sustainable drainage designs and technical approval applications. We visit and advise on projects throughout the UK and Ireland with occasional overseas commissions.

Geoman Ltd assists developers, consultants and contractors with independent advice to assess the most beneficial system and supplier for their project.

Geoman Ltd have over 80 years of combined geotechnical engineering experience and have been established for 18 years. In addition to consultants and contractors, we have worked with numerous geosynthetic material suppliers providing total design support ranging from preliminary conceptual to collateral warrantied designs with clients & projects throughout the UK.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Preparation of engineering drawings
• Assisting engineers in preparation of technical details
• Supporting senior staff in business development activities
• Liaising between client, consultants, architects and builders

Essential

• 1-2 years relevant experience of working in an engineering consultancy
• A sound knowledge of AutoCAD and similar packages
• Ability to produce accurate and well-presented drawings or documents in accordance with briefings from engineering staff
• Efficient in Microsoft office Packages – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams A full driving licence
• Flexibility to travel to site

Desirable

• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Revit would be an advantage

Education

• Have a relevant qualification in Construction, Architectural, Design, or an Engineering related discipline or equivalent
• Min. HNC level or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
