Our Geek Retreat stores host events, like comic book signings, games tournaments and quizzes, every day, 363 days of the year. We have free-to-use graphic novels, board games, games consoles & more in all stores.

Our in-store cafes sell delicious coffees, soft drinks, burgers, hotdogs, paninis, sweet treats & more.

Above all, Geek Retreat is a haven created by geeks, for geeks.

Job description

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK DAY TIME ON WEEKDAYS

We are currently recruiting for part time sales and kitchen assistants at our Bedford store to start early June (date TBC).

This role would suit an individual with excellent communication skills. Hospitality and/or retail experience is essential and an understanding of social media is preferable. An interest in geek culture (movies/TV/gaming) is also a must for everybody in our company.

The Role would involve leading multiple events, so confidence in speaking to group of people is required.

Job Role

• Serving and assisting customers
• Preparing and cooking food to order

Person Specification:

• Awesome attitude & work ethic
• Hospitality and/or retail experience
• A bit of a geek
• Would suit somebody with experience working with children

You MUST be available for day time, evening and weekend shift to be considered.
