JOB TITLE: Kitchen Porter

REPORTING TO: Head Chef

HOURS: Full-time, shift patterns available ranging from mornings, daytimes, and evenings. Parisien Belfast is closed Monday-Wednesday.

JOB LOCATION: Parisien, Cleaver House, 56 Donegall Pl, Belfast BT1 5GA

SALARY: £11.92-£12.92 per hour

Your main responsibility will be to ensure all kitchen cleanliness and assist with general food preparation, therefore, we need someone with an excellent, hard-working attitude. Job Description:

The main duties of this role include but are not limited to:

• Washing dishes, pots, and the provisions of the required equipment in the kitchen.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
• Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
• Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
• Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.

Applicants Criteria:

• Must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work well under pressure.
• Be an excellent team player.
• Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.

Desirable:

• Have previous experience working in a kitchen.
