We are currently looking for a Security Officer to join the team at Swindon Train Station! The role does not require security experience and we are able to train you to the G4S standards, as well as provide support through your SIA license too.

The shift pattern is to work 4 on, 4 off and this requires you to be flexible Monday to Sunday. Please be aware that this role will require you to be flexible to work day and night shifts on a rotational basis.

Swindon Train Station need someone who is great at customer service, as you will be talking to a wide variety of people on a daily basis, dealing with any issues or queries that they may have. You will also be helping with any anti-social behaviour on site, as well as dealing with anyone under the influence. The relevant training will be given to be able to handle these situations.

Duties of the role:

  • Patrols of the site.
  • Gatehouse duties.
  • De-escalating situations on site.
  • Liaising with relevant authorities when necessary.
  • Response to medical incidents on site.
