Sales Assistant (Part Time)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking an industrious professional to join our Herb Shop team in a part time role, working three days a week, Friday and Saturday.

The main duties include (but are not limited to):

• Serving Customers
• Picking Goods for Mail Order Orders
• Lifting and carrying is involved daily in this role.

We are looking for an individual who must have the following qualities to complement our small team:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work productively in any situation.
• A personable demeanour and a positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to prioritise your workload and use your own initiative.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent punctuality and attendance.
• Previous experience with retail work.

A knowledge of, or interest in, alternative healthcare, aromatherapy, natural products, health food is preferable but not essential.

Job type: Part-time – 15 hours per week

Hours: Friday and Saturday either 9am -5.30pm or 9.30am-6.00pm

Salary £11.95 per hour. £9321.00 per annum, we are a London Living Wage employer.

Plus: 25% Staff discount.

Employment will be on a month-to-month trial basis for three months. Leading on to a permanent contract.
