Retail Sales Assistant

Job description

Our mission is to be the Bakery of choice for all customers seeking the finest quality, at the best value, with warm and friendly service. With this in mind we are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person to join our Friary Mill team, working at our new Bakery store in Plympton, St Mary's Bridge. Whilst this job is a part-time position, there may also be overtime available during holidays and at busy times.

You will be working in a busy environment as part of our shop team and will be involved in serving customers hand-made baked goods. You will be trained to bake off pasties, savouries, to cook on a griddle, make filled rolls and salads, serve customers, make hot drinks, set up sales displays and to follow up to date food safety guidelines. Full training will be provided but some experience of food handling in a fast-paced environment would be a distinct advantage.

Hours:

16 + hours per week

Shifts vary between 7am – 5:30pm

Monday - Sunday
